Method

  • Uses binary prefix arithmetic to calculate network boundaries and address capacity.
  • Compares planned address intervals to detect overlaps.

What the result does not prove

  • Usable-host conventions vary for special networks and IPv6 does not use IPv4 broadcast behavior.
  • The tool does not query routers, DHCP, DNS, IPAM, or routing tables.
  • Deployment plans still require organizational standards, security review, and change control.
